Manage a group of customs brokerage operational employees – file openers, data entry, classifiers, traffic, and entry writers. Be responsible for the people management as well as the service delivery to the customers. Manage KPIs for operations and the customer.


This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Manage the daily work flow of the team and meet customer expectations
  • Answer customer questions by phone and email
  • Review performance, work on corrective action, meet with customers
  • Back up team members operationally and handle difficult issues
  • Hire, train and develop the team

  • Timely processing of customs entries

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Customs Brokerage license preferred
  • 5+ years of CHB experience
  • Prefer previous management experience
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Highly detailed-orientated and focused
  • Proficient with Excel and Word
  • People Skills, a motivator
  • Effective/Efficient with their time and ability to re-prioritize when needed
  • Ethics and Integrity
  • Strong Written and Spoken English
