Overview:

This position is responsible for leading Tender Management and a team of Pricing Analyst that provides support to Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers in North America. The focus is to meet and exceed established internal SLA, streamline and standardize existing process, participate in opportunity pursuits like freight RFQs and business reviews. In addition, this position is expected to engage in product development that can be rolled as a new service offering or enhancements to existing products/services that will yield higher margins. The responsibilities includes, quotation generation, pricing strategy collaboration with opportunity owners


Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Lead ocean freight tender management process from start to finish with pre and post RFQ analysis
  • Lead team of Pricing Analyst to provide pricing support to commercial community
  • Meet and exceed established SLA with aim to improve by 5-10% annually
  • Drive product development initiatives from start to finish
  • Coordinate with global, regional & local offices to resolve bottlenecks
  • Perform periodic analysis and reporting on business and team performance
  • Plan and review training materials, manage training schedule and conduct training with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Key Results:

  • Meet or exceed established SLA for pricing support
  • Successful drive and implement one product development per year
  • Complete and submit RFQs on time and in full

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • University Degree with minimum 10 years working experience in the logistics environment with track record of leading teams
  • Knowledge and experience in NVO, forwarding, logistics management, warehousing and distribution and other supply chain-related services
  • Customer oriented with ability to build relationships and interact effectively at various levels
  • Ability to effectively & efficiently adopt/adapt information technology and logistics solutions as an enabler in operations processes is a plus
