We are excited to be adding a new member to our EMEA Customer Solutions Group. APL Logistics’ Customer Solutions Group is an integral unit of our EMEA commercial development function. We are a Center of Excellence for design and delivery of supply chain solutions proposals, embracing innovation; expertise; research and market intelligence; commitment to create change and maximizing long-term value to our customers and APL Logistics.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Solutions Manager who will develop winning solutions for our existing and new customers.

Your key responsibilities:

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing winning supply chain solutions for existing and new customers, using a variety of tools and methods such as:

•    Supply Chain solutions design
•    International network design
•    Supply chain optimization & Simulation
•    Warehouse studies & design
•    Process improvement
•    Digital solutions design
•    Big data analytics

Your responsibilities will centre around:

•    Contributing to complex and comprehensive RFP / RFI responses for supply chain solutions
•    Service re-design 
•    Developing supply chain solutions using various tools and methods
•    Strategic product and market development 
•    Continuous enhancement of our go-to-market approach
•    Data analytics and visualization
•    Implementation planning
•    Sharing your expertise with your colleagues

What do we expect from you?

•    At least 5 years of relevant, similar industry-specific experience in supply chain solutions development
•    Proven track record of designing and delivering supply chain transformation
•    In-depth experience in international supply chain logistics and/or contract logistics
•    Excellent technical skills and techniques comprising data analytics, network design, simulation, optimization, re-modelling, process improvement, solutions design, project management
•    Working knowledge of BI tools, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
•    Strong commercial mindset – customer focus and excellent presentation skills with proven track records in consultative selling
•    Impressive written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities
•    Willingness to travel (when it’s safe & possible)
